Tanya Tomkins performs the Largo from the cello concerto in D Minor, RV 407. In this unique and highly unusual composition, Vivaldi extends his harmonic language to the use of free tones and asymmetrical key relationships by creating an impressionistic melody over a chromatic bass line.
Live, UHD, 4K video from the Voices of Music Virtuoso Concertos concert, December, 2015.
